Jim Amos became involved with Sony Pictures in 1984. During his long career with the production company, he has presided over a variety of sales divisions throughout the United States, working for the company in cities such as Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Boston. Currently, he oversees a 60-person sales force that is responsible for all sales efforts throughout North America, managing motion picture sales, film terms, holdovers, exhibitor relations, and accounts receivable. In addition to these responsibilities, he is directly involved with Will Rogers/Motion Picture Pioneers, serving as Treasurer of the company's charity board. An esteemed professional in his field, he was recently recognized with an award from Show East for his significant service to the industry.

A graduate of Babson College, Jim Amos holds a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Behavior. Along with his work at Sony and his other professional contributions to the film industry, he is involved in philanthropic efforts, providing fundraising assistance to organizations such as the Will Rogers Institute and the Motion Picture Museum. In his free time, he enjoys participating in winter sports such as hockey and skiing.
